Through community and connection we support growth in both our campers and staff. From a summer at camp you will learn more about yourself and develop in ways you maybe weren’t expecting. Just like campers we unplug, explore, develop skills, work in community and build friendships . Expect to work long days, be outside in the summer sunshine, collaborate with others, and build some lifelong friendships. This is a tough job, it’s an exciting, exhausting, demanding, rewarding opportunity. You’ll experience fun and adventure, but it’s the community of understanding, friendship and encouragement that keeps campers and counselors coming back year after year. One of our biggest values is open and honest communication with our staff, creating a culture of feedback and support. We collaborate with each other and are dedicated to contributing to a positive environment focused on youth development.

Nearly every role at camp is full-time (Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm) from end of May to August. Since this is only about an 11 week commitment, we generally only hire staff whose availability fits these requirements. However, we do occasionally have some flexibility and if you’re excited about the job, would love to see you apply! We ask that you discuss any time off time off requests or other needs in the application or during the interview so we are able to plan well in advance and make sure it is the best fit for everyone.

Since we are primarily a day camp located in Colorado Springs, CO, we are unable to provide housing, meals or transportation. We do have many staff come from out of state to work with us and can connect you to some housing resources, but securing housing, meals, and transportation will be your responsibility.
