 CAMP STORE

Welcome to the Go West Camp Store!

Through the camp store we are excited to give the opportunity for campers and their families to remember and commemorate their Go West camp experience.

The Go West camp store also gives a platform for our staff to show off their talents by creating art for camp and turning their designs into a wearable form. We are proud to say that all designs in the camp store were made by our staff members, they are an integral part of Go West and you can see each of their passions for camp and this community through their art.

We have put a lot of time into creating this store, brainstorming ideas, drawing designs, curating only the comfiest and quality items to put our designs on. We hope you enjoy it and thank you for the support.

Meet the Artists!

Nat Roberts

Nat (she/her) began working at Go West Camps in May of 2016 and most recently served as a year-round Program Director through summer 2023. She was raised east of the Rockies and spent much of her childhood outdoors. Nature has always influenced the art she’s been making since she was young. She studied art in high school and college but most of her skills are self-taught. Nat’s preferred mediums include pen & ink drawing, acrylic painting, lampworking with boro glass, and needle felting with wool. Nat recently began working with the digital medium which proved to be challenging but so much fun. She designed the 2023 Early Registration Go West Pin in tandem with Kaylin Larkin. Red Rock Canyon Open Space is a quintessential destination for Go West Camps. Campers have made many memories at the quarry so the group decided it would be the perfect subject for our first ever enamel pin. Be sure to see if you can spot the hidden image paying tribute to our supportive families. Nat loves contributing her skills to Go West Camps with the hope of creating meaningful experiences for our campers and their families.

JeSSICA POWERS

Jessica (she/they) started working at Go West Camps in 2019 as a Unit Leader. She fell in love with Go West and their culture and came back summer after summer until becoming part of the year round team as a Program Director. Along with loving camp Jess also loves art. They attended art school in Virginia where Jess studied General Studio Arts, and concentrated on Pottery. Jess loves to draw and paint, especially focused on natural subjects for their art. She teaches pottery classes on the weekends, and in her free time draws with graphite, pen, prisma colored pencils and watercolor. She also uses ProCreate to create digital art. Jess worked on the camp store designs in collaboration with others from our team, Nat and Angel. We are really excited to release all of the artwork to our camp families and hope you cherish them! Thank you for all of the support!

Angel Trogi

Angel (he/they) started at Go West Camps in 2021 as a summer camp counselor. Currently, Angel is a year round Lead Farm director of the endlessly evolving Go West Farm, home to chickens, goats, ducks, barn cats and all sorts of garden plants. Born in Illinois, he has always had an immense passion for animals, farming, tattooing, painting, digital art, LGBTQ+ diversity and a strong desire to create safe creative space. That desire soon cultivated numerous outlets for expansion arriving in Colorado, specifically at Go West. The profound team at Go West backed his digital art confidence with the inquiry of the creation of the 2021 Go West sticker pack. This pack included the summer of the beaded lizard sticker as well as other adventure program stickers. Angel hopes to bring education, diversity and fun in each art filled memento as an opportunity to take a little bit of camp and the farm home with you.
